Why Iowa?

As the final countdown to the Iowa caucuses approach, one thing comes to mind. Why does Iowa get to decide a frontrunner? I've been to Iowa. It's full of fat and stupid.

Same goes for NH and SC, fuck these small retarded states, let's have a nation wide primary and let these candidates campaign everywhere. I damn sure don't want my guy to drop out because he didn't win the primary in the trifecta of ignorance before they even get to TX.

Are we assuming that Texas is NOT full of fat and ignorant? Did you notice are last two Governors? Gee, how did they get there?

Fat and stupid (Iowa and NH) weed out the contestants for mean and hateful (SC)?

1. No one from IA (or NH or SC) ever runs for President, so there, so far, have been no favorite son/daughter type candidates to skew the results.
2. What state citizenry in their right mind would ever want the inundation of political ads, network news, and political workers camped in their business for half of winter....other than it feels so good when their gone. I bet Tivo sales are really good in Iowa.
2a. Geographical size makes for easier inundation, therefore reducing the obscene amount of money required campaigning. Size also lets voters get past that first date attraction and determine better who's message
3. Fat and stupid is, unfortunately, a good representation of normal/average.
4. Their sports teams are crap or minor league...I say give 'em the first primaries as a consolation prize for mediocrisy.
5. Winter. The spectator sport of it all would improve if North Dakota would join them.

Apologies for obvious writing errors. I'll keep it shorter in the future, I promise.

...required FOR campaigning...and

...determine better who's message doesn't get stale.

Hey, shit happens when your boss interrupts your productivity.
