Do The People In New Hampshire Love Democracy More Than You Do?

This reporter from Rhode Island went to New Hampshire to see the primaries in person up there. First, I noticed the snow banks everywhere. Well, that's not true...first I noticed his teeth . Guy's got choppers, yo! (He's still cute, though) Then I noticed the long line of people to get in the polling place.

I thought, would I stand in that line in between big snow banks and freezing my ass off to vote?

Maple syrup. It's a hell of drug.

I'm 64 years old. I havenever missed an opportunity to vote, whether local, state or national election.

But with this year's offering of presidential candidates (of both parties) I may just opt out this time. Even if it is 70 degrees and sunny here, I just can't get too excited about any of them.

They don't love democracy more than us but they are sure alot closer to it. They actually meet and see these candidates. If these candidates spent as much time in Texas as they do in these teeny weeny states, we could get excited about the process as well.
