Democrats: Alligator Mouths, Hummingbird Asses

For all their big talk, the Democrats in Congress are not impressing me. All the shouting and rhetoric about the government overstepping and Bush abusing power, yet they just extended the surveillance crap? Seriously? Seriously.

As someone that has some conservative leanings, this bothers me. I do not care for government intrusion into privacy. I also do not believe that everybody is a potential terrorist. While I appreciate a strong national defense, I am well entrenched in my opinion that this administration has stepped over the line on too many occasions to count.

Poor job, Congress. Poor.

The gov is not "spying on Americans". If you are not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about. There is no telling how many attacks or other such plans that have been stopped by this "illegal" survelence. It will never be know. It is something that can't be measured or proven. So these leftist, socialist, liberals seize this as an other opportunity to trash Bush. If it makes Bush look the liberals don't want you to know it.

Mike's comment that if you are not doing anything worng you have nothing to worry about is incredibly naive. Why is the government spying on me if I'm not doing anything wrong? Mike must be of German ancestry and inherited the gene for abetting totalitarianism.

As for W, go ahead and veto the bill if it doesn't include immunity. Cut off your own nose to spite your brainless head.

Mike - maybe you're willing to roll over like an obedient dog. I'm not. Just because your scared of 'tha terrawrists' doesn't mean we all are.
