NBC Calls the Caucus

Well, I couldn't help but catch a news update. NBC predicts it will be Huckabee and Obama. Huckabee? Are you kidding me? Dear Lord in Heaven please save us from the idiots in Iowa!

Let's Caucus!

What's your predictions on the Iowa Caucus results? Are you paying attention? It's so boring I can't even tell you I'll get drunk and liveblog it. DMN's Trailblazers sent me a link and said they had some predictions. I thought...hmmm, I got my own predictions.

I predict I won't know anything about this until I wake up in the morning.

My favorite story of the morning so far

An Austin police officer is under investigation for sex with a prostitute. He paid for the services, which took place in his own bed, with his wife's clothing. LOVE this story. His wife is from the Larry Craig school of matrimony and is standing by her husband, even claiming that the clothes described went missing from her closet while she was with her husband. Really? Someone broke into your Cedar Park home and stole some of your TJ Maxx specials and didn't steal anything else and it's not reported as a crime? And your husband is a police officer? Ok...I believe you.

As you know, I support legalized prostitution. I think it is a victimless crime, and not even a crime in the first place. For the police to even arrest and spend one taxpayer dollar on prostitution is annoying to me. But...I'd like to put forth a few ground rules for those utilizing the services of a prostitute.

1. If married, do not invite a prostitute to your home. You are asking for drama.
2. Pay cash...and only after services are rendered.
3. Practice safe sex. (D'uh)
4. Use a reputable service provider.

Feel free to add your own tips to ensure a pleasant experience.

There is one good thing about Iowa today

The positive thing is that after today there may be some people dropping out of the crowded race. Maybe we'll get a reprieve from what is turning into all-presidential election all the time news.

Oh, and I just realized. We are now in the last year of President Dumbass. Let's hope we don't have a sequel. I'd like a president that when I hear on the television I don't think, "Jesus is he/she stupid."

Why Iowa?

As the final countdown to the Iowa caucuses approach, one thing comes to mind. Why does Iowa get to decide a frontrunner? I've been to Iowa. It's full of fat and stupid.

Let's learn about waterboarding

All the talk about what it is and I was never really sure until I read this forum post where a dude did it on himself to see what it was like. He says it was like dying and it's an interesting and scary read.

Ric Williamson is Dead

Texas Transportation Commission Chairman Ric Williamson has passed away, according to state Rep. Mike Krusee, R-Williamson County.

How long before Krusee announces he's interested in the job?
