No Politician Left Behind!

The news that Margaret Spellings wants to come back to Texas, make some money, and possibly run for some office -- perhaps senator or governor -- ought to thrill everyone. Maybe she could take on the "Houston drop-out factory" until something opens up!

Burka "aka Craddick's Bitch" had the same story but provided more of a brown nose version. My comment is that while Margaret may have did her time and made her sacrifices in Washington DC for the last years and made a name for herself natinally, many of us here in Texas politics have worked with her (and Dan Bartlett and Karen Hughes) and believe me, we do not need her or any of the Bush homecoming folks holding office (and I'm a Republican!). They did their stint now they should stop drinking their own kool-aide while reading their own press.

I have some advise for them: write a book; start a blog; go make speeches; retire and enjoy your families, but for the sake of Texas PUH-LEEZE don't try to run for office. You will be seriously embarrassed
