Catty. Chatty. And Occasionally Trashy.

Perry Hearts New York Liberals

Gardner Selby is reporting that Perry and Railroad Commish Michael Williams are set to endorse Rudy Giuliani for president tomorrow. Apparently the Texans didn't get the memo that the far right is none too happy about the former mayor, who happens to support a woman's right to choose, gay rights, and gun control. The horror, I know.

But perhaps there are other reasons. You have to admit, this really does seem to fit in with Rick's m.o.:

Perry will be on Fox News at 6:20 a.m. Who the F is up at 6:20 a.m.? Farmers, I'm guessing.

I...wow.

That may have been the most disturbing thing I've ever seen.

1. Rick Perry has no issue (except publicly) with gayness. See Connor, Geoffrey.

2. He wants to be Dick Cheney's successor. Now think about that for a moment.

The value of getting our sorriest Republican out of Austin is NOT worth exporting him to Washington. See Bush, Dubya.

I think it's HILARIOUS because it's a smack in the face to religious conservatives in Texas!

It shows that Perry, like most Republicans, simply *panders* to the religious right to get their vote to then wield power - usually in ways that cut against the old, the poor, and the weak... you know, all those folks that Jesus said we should care about.

Perry isn't a conservative at all. He's just a dick, which makes everybody assume he's a right wing lunatic.

Amen. He's practically on his knees BEGGING to be VP now.
