First Lady Laura Bush placed a commentary in the WSJ this week. WTF? Really?
"Gen. Than Shwe and his deputies are a friendless regime," Bush said. "They should step aside to make way for a unified Burma [Myanmar] governed by legitimate leaders.Looks like they fired the writer that wanted to throw "Axis of Evil" in there.
Don't get me wrong, I'm opposed to evil dictatorships like the rest of America, Laura...but, for an administration and a half you've been awfully silent and now you're speaking? Is this because everybody hates George so much that no matter what he says we automatically take the opposing view just out of spite? Is the conventional wisdom that your words carry more weight? Well, they don't. You can't fool me like your mother-in-law once did. I wound up being sucked in by that old hag because she looked like my grandmother. I believed her and defended her and she turned out to be a cold-hearted greedmonger like the rest of you.
So just shut it. Don't ever speak again.
Laura Bush giving advice to other countries after the disasters her lying, mass-murdering, dicatator of a husband has made all over the world, the lives he has been responsible for taking and the malicious wounding done not only to Americans, but thousands and thousands in other countries worldwide, especially in Iraq and Afghanistan?
Who is she to give adivce? Laura, go write another damned book that only those few left in Georgie's corner will want to read and stay the hell out of the advice business. Haven't you learned ANYTHING from your husband's zillions of mistakes?????
Okay God Dammit, what exactly is the name of this shit hole country? Is it Burma or is it Myanmar?
Is this the only country that gets to have two names? WTF
Can't we just bomb them until they deciede what name they want to go by?
I haven't had this much trouble since Prince started going by that retarded symbol.
Will somebody please make a decision here.
Anon, it's government calls it Myanmar but most countries will not recognize that as the legitimate name and still see it as Burma.
"President Bush and his cronies are a friendless regime," I said. "They should step aside to make way for a unified U.S., governed by legitimate leaders.
