6 years ago today, President Bush signed into law the Patriot Act.

They are watching.

Thank Goodness he did. Has anyone noticed the lack of another terrorist attack in the US of A since 9/11? Maybe, just maybe, the Patriot Act had something to do with this. But, Bush haters would rather see us lose the war and have another such attack to in order to further their political agendas. God help us if they get their way.

Is this a joke? If not, someone's been drinking the Kool Aid.

I agree with the DOC. Someone has to protect us! We know Hillary won't. Thanks, W.

Ummm... Is that a joke, too?

I love the way Republicans have the sheep honestly believing that Democrats aren't going to continue the war on terror.

Spying on law abiding Americans via the Patriot Act has nothing to do with the absence of terror attacks in the US since 9/11. Spying on terrorists does.

LegeBoy at October 29, 2007 1:30 PM

Yup, and no attacks from Martians, Yetis, Flying Spaghetti Monsters, or Zombies either since the Patriot Act was passed.

Obviously we need to credit the Bush Administration for successfully protecting us from those horrible catastrophes as well, right?

As usual, critical thinking is well beyond the reach of bed-wetting right wingers. You dimwits might want to google "Post Hoc, Ergo Propter Hoc" --it's a logical fallacy that the Romans figured out over 2,000 years ago. Might come in handy when you're trying to come to a logical understanding of policy and world affairs. Oh, wait, we're talking about Neocons---logic and "reality" don't apply, do they?
