Elizabeth Edwards Does it Again

Elizabeth Edwards has been given a gift with her cancer diagnosis. It's the gift of speaking out truthfully about her opinions and beliefs. It's something that very few people ever get the chance to do, and I commend her for it.

"This president talks a lot about good and evil and the need to seek out evil doers," she told a packed auditorium. "But he doesn't seem to recognize the evil in hate crimes. The right to live without the fear of being murdered for whom we love is not a special right."
Mrs. Edwards is campaigning for her husband and is busy winning over audiences. (SJMN)

Mrs. Edwards should direct her remarks regarding crime and violence to New Orleans Mayor Nagen regarding the city's newly infamous note of the extremely high murder rate it is experiencing. Want to rid the violence? Let's begin at home.

Murder is still against the law, right? If not, I'm going to be busy for the next couple o' days.
