Okay, Burka, you win: my interest is piqued. What exactly does the phrase "ungentlemanly personal conduct" mean?
When giving a further explanation of why Rep. Mike O'Day deserved a spot on Texas Monthly's dishonorable mention list, Burka offered the following enigma: "Mike O'Day engaged in ungentlemanly personal conduct." Which tells me ... nothing. But reading through the comments tells me a little - maybe a lot.
After refusing to explain what he meant beyond the general "O'Day knows what he did," Burka chose to publish a few comments that would suggest O'Day's a dick.
Burka moderates his comments, as will we on this post.
Following the lead of the Chronic, I invite readers to share what they know of the ungentlemanly personal conduct. Let's do our best to only embarrass and call out O'Day, though - not the parties that were on the receiving end of the "conduct." Identifying any victim of harassment is a serious violation.
Gay Gay Gay
If O'Day is to be outed as the brutish, oafish jerk he is, surely the same treatment should apply to Senator Mike Jackson, who was a drunken sexual predator at the Capitol long before O'Day arrived.
I know EXACTLY what he's been doing, figured I'd bring it up during election. Lets just say I have a "wrap sheet" on him a mile long. The funny thing is, the BLIND republicans voted HIM in OVER an honest, good man, Dr. DiNovo.
O'Day's actions are NOT just recent, he's been like this for YEARS, however he ran on laughable things such as "the sanctity of marriage" and being an upstanding LIFELONG member of the church, when in FACT, the ONLY time he ever went was to announce his running! That election was especially difficult for me knowing all I did about O'Day. I had hoped that after getting elected he might calm down, but now it seems he feels he has a license to not only continue, but get worse.
I don't feel sorry for the voters, the idiots did it to themselves because they refused to look at the man running instead of the "R" besides the name, the person I feel sorry for is his wife.
Just wait until the 2008 elections, because I PROMISE you, the shit WILL hit the fan!
Weed, women and song (well, them's the rumors on the Internets, anyway).
