Catty. Chatty. And Occasionally Trashy.

"She actually says what she thinks."

That what John Edwards said about his wife, Elizabeth, on the Tonight Show when he 'found out' she supports gay marriage. Edwards said, "I'm very strong about ending discrimination against gay and lesbian couples." Except, you know, letting them get married because that's icky...and would legitimize gay relationship. I don't want to be too harsh here, but this is what having cancer does to you...you can say what you think.

I guess Edwards had come a long way since 1988 when he said about gay people, "I'm not comfortable around those people." Maybe in another 19 years he'll think something different about them, too!

Really, I don't care about that at all. What I care about is his comment that his wife says what she thinks. Oh, how I crave a politician that would do the same. I might not like it, but wouldn't it be great to hear some honesty?

Fucking please! If you want honesty your going to have to move past the Edwards. I haven't seen this much rehearsal since the Clintons brought their show to town. This is their too cute by half way of playing both sides of the fence. Edwards will do anything and say anything if he thinks it will get him votes and pimping out cancer wife is his biggest act.
Exp; "I don't know if I know what a rich person is".
How about some asshole that gets a $400 dollar haircut?

Elizabeth Edwards for President... Based on the sole fact that she is the only one who said what she thinks!
John Edwards is PW'ed... his wife says something that he has formerly disagreed with and now changes his tune..

oh come on, pinkdome. i guess you just sprang from the head of athena with your fully enlightened liberal thinking. (on everything except the death penalty, apparently).

give some fucking props to evolution of thought. i know it might be easy to be cynical when it applies to politicians, but clearly the american public has been going through the same evolution. and john edwards might be one of those people who've honestly finally come to see the light.
