I'm hoping this was a miss quote.

The Senator was talking about our PRESIDENT!

At least, under this PRESIDENT, I feel comfortable knowing that if Sen. Chet Edwards has been in the White House lately, the finger he points in the picture is clean.

Robert - you are an idiot.

1. Chet Edwards is a United States Representative, not a Senator. This was clearly have been indicated by the beginning of the text that stated "Rep. Chet Edwards."

2. Of course this isn't an actual quote. Have you ever actually listened to the weekend radio addresses?

3. I have no idea what you are implying about clean fingers, but I am positive that it has actually nothing to do with the current discussion. Ad hominem attacks don't add anything to a legitimate discussion about politics and legislation.

4. Chet, and PD, made excellent points that the current administration has woefully underfunded veterans programs, while simultaneously making more veterans in need of more and more services. In fact, while we are at it, our PRESIDENT is an idiot too.

I'm clearly going to have to give classes on sarcasm, satire and irony because so many people read this site and have zero grasp of any of those concepts.
