Goes to....State Representative Jessica Farrar. I received three "Women taking a seat at the Table of Power" silk scarves in the mail today with a personal note from the representative encouraging me to update my wardrobe. Class act.
The scarves are from WAND (Women's Action for New Directions).

Yup, a sense of humor, smart as a whip and beautiful to boot. Ditch the scarves and get her the right wardrobe and she could be a Bond Girl. ;)
Seriously, she didn't make Texas Monthly's list but I thought Farrar had a good session, especially in State Affairs where I saw her the most, and her aide on border stuff, Lillian Ortiz, did some excellent work, too.
With the fashion make over the gays in dist 148 are gonna give her this interim she is gonna kick ass in 09...GO GURL!
Rep. Farrar has been finding her stride and real come into her own over the past 3 years.
We love her down her and Houston.
Way back in November she called out the Speaker by asking for an AG opinion on his coercive tactics of bullying reps for votes. Too bad she didn't get more support on the issue back then.
