Dissent to a 51% Mandate
#1 the blogads are killing comment page load time. Wonder why commenting has dropped off recently? It's not worth the wait.
#2 you can do whatever you want with your living room. The license is just needed for designing public places. My guess is to keep idiots from hanging sharp things that would fall on people, making that cuuuuute wall covering out of highly flammable material, etc. While I'm starting to get a libertarian mindset about keeping the number of laws to a minimum, this one may not quite be as silly as it seems at first. Of course, that's just a guess as I'm much too lazy to learn about the licensing details....
