Gas prices up an average 18 cents. How does public transportation work? Anyone? Do buses stink? Can I work from home a couple of days a week? Is it wrong to ask friends for gas money when I earn more than twice than they do?

B) It's cold as balls here in Chicago.
C) Katrina victims screwed? Color me shocked.
D) Public transporatation is ok. I take the bus to school here in Chicago, It can be a pain in the ass when people with small kids or old people get on/off the bus/train. But for the most part, it works. It beats sitting in traffic and having to be super vigilant that some douche is gonna crash into you.
It also beats the $5000 a year parking fees.
