Meh, I haven't bothered to either. I don't need them to drink and socialize

I'm a member, thanks for the goading Pinks, but at $200 a year, you should make her pay for advertising.

It's all about the Benjamins.

Uh... I have advertised on Pink Dome in the past. Now I pay Charlie and his crew with beer and wine.

Thanks Pink Dome for mentioning the site!

(Site is free for staff by the way)

imasuit ... i will miss you!

Kimmy at April 4, 2007 10:12 PM

No, thanks.

I went to one of their events. And though I ran a state legislative race last cycle and work for another elected who is not a state legislator, I was treated as sub-human. I sat at a table and chatted up some folks, to which the first question out of their mouths was "who do YOU work for?" and when the response was someone other than a Senator or a Rep., the folks got up and walked away from the table.

Nice.

Out of the Office at April 5, 2007 9:12 AM

Sorry you were treated badly. The events are meant for everyone with a connection to the Capitol, even past connections. Oh well... I can't teach those young 'uns manners, I guess.

Robyn at April 5, 2007 9:26 AM

You mean it only costs hundreds of dollars to hang out with earnest, well-meaning and ass-kissing squares? Sign me up!

flawedplan at April 6, 2007 4:31 AM

Well... I don't mind being called earnest and well meaning, but I leave the ass kissing to Pink Dome.

For Pete's sakes, we need some more earnest and well meaning around the Capitol this session.
