Catty. Chatty. And Occasionally Trashy.

Laughingstock

Does it embarrass you when friends from other parts of the country call you asking what kind of idiots you elect to your state legislature? It's sad because it takes a lot of explaining to someone in NYC that this guy is a fluke, but still...somebody voted for him and that is humiliating.

Oh, yes. This was released about the same time as the Texan Congressman who doesn't want DC to get representation unless it repeals its gun control laws. Go, Texas politicians!

Most people realize their state lege is crazy. With a few exceptions (Sen. Hinojosa comes to mind), a lot of people in the Texas Lege are absolutely insane.

Also, below that is a NJ case about $12,000 in missing underwear. I'll take crazy anti-abortionists over panty raiders for a new story anyday.

But those "Knut" bears on #5 are awfully cute! (unlike most of our legislators....)

patrick has a live wire on him, how did this not make the top 5? you see the floor, what joke, ironically no one wanted to be around him. wonder why?

JOJO_the_wonder_monkey at March 26, 2007 4:33 PM

Yes, of course. Texas is a laughingstock because somebody wants to prevent someone from cutting a fetus in half with a pair of tweezers and wants to give the fetus a chance to become a full, living human being like you.

Well, maybe not like you, but at least a human being.
