Welcome to Two Years Ago, New York

illegal.jpgIf there's one thing I'd say about Texas, it's that we're ahead of the curve.

Okay, that's not true - I wouldn't say that. Let me rephrase: if there's one thing I'd say about Texas, it's that we're ahead of the curve when it comes to ridiculously stupid protests about illegal immigration.

Case in point: the Young Conservatives of Texas' (also known by their acronym NAMBLA*) "Illegal Immigrant Hunts" that caused a stir in Denton and Austin. Those were two years ago. Now it looks like the College Republicans at NYU will be hosting a similar event, sure to solve the issue of illegal immigration in one fell swoop. After all, it worked so well down here.

And as the NYT blog points out, the College Republicans are still planning on their big dodgeball match against the College Democrats "local hippies."

hey that's right standing up for something you believe in when you are a liberal is noble and shows character and conviction, but when you are a conservative then it shows you are stupid and hateful. please forget all the ms 13, latin kings, nuestra familia, mexican mafia, texas syndicate gangs that have found their way across our borders and into our streets. lets not forget all the unorganised criminals that come over her year after year you know murders, rapists, child molestors, thieves, and drug dealers. no one really has a problem with hard working honest people coming here to work they just want it done legally.
