Thursday News Roundup

- All I heard about on CNN this morning was Hillary v. Obama (well, that and Anna Nicole). David Geffen threw Obama a party after all those Clinton-supporting years, Hillary's campaign got angry after Geffen made some not-so-nice comments about her, blah blah blah. We're still at war, and this is a top story, CNN? Please.

- Some people think that Habitat for Humanity is falling behind in its work on the post-Katrina Gulf region. Just imagine how much slower it would be if the government was heading it up. [Austin Chronicle]

- If you haven't been watching the News War series on Frontline, you are missing out. The past two episodes have focused on the press and their relationship with the Bush administration. Next week the show focuses on the impact of new media (read: blogs) on the old bastions of the press.

- Oh, and did you remember that Barack Obama is going to be in Austin tomorrow? You probably haven't heard anything about it in the local news (/sarcasm). I imagine more than a few people will show up at Auditorium Shores. Part of me hates to miss a great speech, but I'll wait to see it on YouTube.
