REMEMBER: INTEL SHELL WAS WATSON’S BACK DOOR DEAL

Austin Mayor Kirk Watson’s (now Sen. Kirk Watson) back door deal with Intel cost city taxpayers $7.5 MILLION in subsidies after they left us with the “Intel shell” eye sore (That deal should be a reminder of how Watson’s deals with special interests always cost citizens more).

Watson’s City of Austin Prop 1, of the year 2000, diverted a whopping $67.2 million of our bond dollars, intended for free roads, into toll roads.

And, today tricky Sen. Watson is pushing Managed Lanes, a fancy way to say toll roads without using the “T” word.

If you want evidence of the $67.2 million diversion email me for the City of Austin document at sal@texastollparty.com

You're so full of shit you gristle-headed douche.

Ha! Well said. Eileen called him a tool for Carole Keeton Strayhorn ("I was for tolls before I was against them"); yours is better.

I remain curious about who is paying this guy to take over every blog entry he can find and bash his client's enemy. (In case you missed it, Sal C. took more than $16,000 from the Bill Welch campaign in 2006 without ever declaring a cent of it; he seems to have gone into business taking under-the-table money to pound Democrats and anyone that's ever beaten Strayhorn.)

But for his sake I hope he's being paid by the word.

Can a shit-filled gristle-headed douche also be a tool? I say yes!
