Wednesday News Roundup

- Texans are still dealing with ice, snow and more. Newspapers set up weather blogs. And while some of us are already back at work here in Austin, the school district hasn't made up its mind about whether to have school tomorrow or not.

- A number of Texas Republicans oppose Mel Martinez as future RNC leader [BurkaBlog]. It's all about this thing called amnesty and . . . who are we kidding? We don't give a crap about the RNC's future leadership.

- If you were stuck in your house with no cable and no internet yesterday, then you may not have heard that Obama has set up a Presidential Exploratory Committee. Otherwise, all the major corporate media outlets have been all over this.

- The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (?!?) is in charge of deciding whether your privacy is worth anything or not.

Stay warm, y'all!
