Inaugural night at Four Seasons

Told to me by PD (his Crackberry wouldn't let him post):

I'm on a phone here, drinking champagne at the Four Seasons. There's a Rolls Royce Phantom by the Lobby bar. It seems the cold weather hasn't stopped the Republican elite of Texas from having their celebrations.

David Dewhurst is 10 ft behind me drinking something on the rocks, next to two old white men and one snatched up Dallas lady. She's less Highland Park than Plano; the ponytail gave it away.

The woman from Houston I engaged in conversation with had so much glitter I thought it was like seeing Halley's comet.

Youthful Republicans are here decked out in rented tuxes, probably angling for staff positions. I don't notice knee pads, but I'm sure they're in their hotel rooms.

Let me finish my bottle of champagne, and I'll report more later. Ice be damned, we're partying tonight.

P. S. PETA would have a field day at the Four Seasons with all the fur on show.

Me, I'm going back to Anthony Bourdain on my DVR. - BB

10-1 says Bluebonnet gets bent over and loaded like a shotgun by one of those potential GOP staffers.

anon - as I was not there, I don't think there's a possibility of that.

bluebonnet at January 17, 2007 8:18 AM

There are straight GOP staffers?

mcblogger at January 17, 2007 9:57 AM

Luckily, I didn't limit my bet to location and time specific.

McTool, it's possible.

Stay classy, anon.

TGOSH at January 17, 2007 1:50 PM

TGOSH,
What, no dorky sayings to dazzle us with?

anon at January 17, 2007 1:53 PM

BB is a lady!
Then again, so is Pink Dome.

Kimmy at January 17, 2007 5:01 PM

anon,

Did you enjoy your "snow days"? Oh well, all good things must come to an end.

Back to the 9th grade for you tomorrow.

I know these can be difficult times -- what with no one willing to sit with you at lunch -- and forgive you for your adolescent outbursts.

TGOSH at January 17, 2007 10:57 PM

Ouch, score one for TGOSH.

BB and PD are ladies? Why, I never!

"She's no lady, she's my wife!"

ANON is a moron! You can tell this by reading his posts on other topics. ANON, keep your mouth shut...you're just making yourself sound more and more stupid.

Folks I was at the Four Seasons and it was a blast. I got so damn drunk that I could've nailed any one of those fur/leaher clad MILF's!! I know that if I'd gotten a room that night one of those damn bimbos would've been in on the floor with kneepads on.
