The Governor of Texas Inaugural Events Schedule will continue as planned, in spite of God's efforts with the inclement weather. The full schedule of events are in the permalink.
Here's a craigslist posting to start us off. Be sure to send us your comments, pictures, and 'overheards' at the event!

Date: 2007-01-05, 2:21PM CSTOK people, I am a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas and I think it would be really cool if I could take Little Brother (he's 11) to the Inaugural Ball for Governor Perry. But... the tickets are $75 a peice!!! Even for the kid! I would pay for mine (reluctantly, I am not rich by any means!) but I definitely can't afford two tickets. If anyone has a ticket (or two? or a spare $150) to spare for a good cause (this kid could just end up to be governor himself one day!) I would really really appreciate it. And yes, I already tried to talk to the Inaugural committee; they are firm and aren't giving out any tickets to community service volunteers or really cool 11 year old boys. :(
Please email me if you have tickets to give or any thoughts or advice!
