Catty. Chatty. And Occasionally Trashy.

"I promise to tell the truth. Always" (Except Sometimes)

The latest YouTube craze is turning your own words against you. The "McCain vs. McCain" video is a shameless attempt to show a man struggling through policy positions in front of a national audience. McCain's inability to decide if he's the straight talker or 'base-panderer' is much more annoying than his actual policy positions.

LOL

Because D's don't pander. Got the self-righteous hat on today I see.

Wonk--weren't you leaving us to our own devices until next Tuesday? (How can we miss you if you don't go away?)

lush at January 30, 2007 9:58 AM

^

Not witty.

Wonk [TypeKey Profile Page] at January 30, 2007 10:04 AM

Any political figure, democrat or republican, can end up in a video like this. With todays easy video editing software and the internet, it won't be long before we see tons more videos like the McCain one.
Check out the videos of Bush, Hillary, Rumsfeld and others at www.gotuit.com, where all it took was a little tweeking with some editing tools and the video can give any message you want it to.

"Flip flop. Flip flop."

Hard to swallow your own medicine, isn't it?

the well from which wonk slurps is fed by the Pierian Springs, with predictable results.

Que, Mariposa?

Wonk [TypeKey Profile Page] at January 30, 2007 3:22 PM

Hey, nobody f**** with the Jesus.
And I acknowledge in advance that quoting The Big Lebowski isn't especially witty either.

You're out of your element.

Wonk [TypeKey Profile Page] at January 30, 2007 4:50 PM

lush at January 30, 2007 5:02 PM

wonk, ya sabes que, pendejote.

Jesus B. Ochoa at January 30, 2007 5:54 PM

Wonk's response, that "D's do it too" deal is something that I am hearing a lot of lately from republican staffers. But the D's do it.

Weak. The young monkey can't reconcile their party's inability to lead and resort to the ever so popular, but they do it too, response.

Blue at January 30, 2007 6:15 PM

Blue,
Like listening to the Ds whine that they are being treated "unfairly" because they are in the minority.
"Yea, that's just not right"

anon at January 31, 2007 12:48 PM

Wonk, Re: your comment Got the self-righteous hat on today I see.

You need to go back and work on your reading comprehension. I never inferred D's don't pander.
