Burkablog has a letter from House Chairs backing Craddick. It's hard to read the letter with a straight face, especially when it mentions his "character" and "honesty".

Robert Puente (Chair, Committee on illegally diluting the Latino vote in San Antonio and surrounding counties to the west)
Kino Flores (Chair, Committee on deliberately violating the Voting Rights Act)
Norma Chavez (Chair, Committee on illegally diluting the Latino vote in El Paso and surrounding counties to the east)
Helen Giddings (Chair, Committee on $1,000.00 toilets and other items for redecorating the speaker's quarters with dirty money)
Harold Dutton (Chair, Committee on throwing poor kids off CHIPs and making sure that no business tax funds go toward fixing the education funding crisis)
Kevin Bailey (Chair, Committee on appointing an ethics committee which wouldn't know an ethics violation from an unreported $100,000.00 check)
