Here we go again. It's amazing that every Session we wonder if there will be any reason to make fun of people in the Capitol. You'd think it would just be a given, but we still get nervous and think one day the legislature will introduce thoughtful and needed legislation and work in a bipartisan manner to solve Texas' problems and encourage things like education, economic growth and environmental protections. Why we ever worry is surely a sign of a slight anxiety disorder and not based in any historical or reality context.
We'd like to thank the Texas Legislature in advance for coming back down to Austin to show us exactly how grown men and women can work together to accomplish things we'd rather they just left alone in the first place.
We'd also like to remind you more than ever how much we count on you every day to send us tips, heads up and stories for us to share.
