We Obviously Need a Webcam

The border camera project is over. The webcams shut down as the governor's office seeks bids to expand the project. The site statistics are impressive for those that logged on to watch for dirty Mexicans crossing the border.

The Texas border watch test site closed Nov. 30. In the 27 days it was operational, state officials said more than 221,000 viewers registered on the site. The site had nearly 28 million hits and generated close to 15,000 e-mails, said Gov. Rick Perry's spokesman Robert Black.
Clearly, 221,000 people have nothing at all to do.

We've got a webcam. We're seriously considering nightly shows for you.

Odd that with all of those nifty stats, they fail to mention the number of illegals arrested.

Damn, they shut it down before we could run around with a BigFoot suit....
