The new crop of freshman legislators are echoing the same message of bring moderation to the Texas Legislature. If there were to be real-live debate and not one-party bullying in Austin then we'd have a lot less to talk about here. A two-party system is good for Texans. By having checks and balances in place, you avoid some of the crap we've seen shoved down our throats in the past few years.

At the same time, if the new crop of Democrats come waltzing in and start voting with the Republicans on issues that hurt the overall party we are going to have to open up a can of whup ass on them. [AAS]
