votemofobutton1.png Today is election day and if you haven't already voted get your lazy ass to the polls!

We'll be liveblogging shortly after the polls close live from the Stephen F. Austin Terrace bar. Come join us and bring your laptop so you can add lively comments and the analysis that we won't be providing.

We also found out that our favorite DMN personality, Karen Brooks, will be liveblogging the election results on the front page of the DallasNews.com site.

I'm in Chicago, so I'm not sure what time the polls close in Texas. I know it's the same time zone, but when do they officially close?

How crowded will this shindig be?

Perhaps I'll cruise in around 7:00 in spectacular fashion sporting an iced-out "I Voted" lapel and resplendent in my ratty dockers and dress shirt with the sleeves all rolled up like I've actually been working hard all day.

Chances are, however, that I'll be watching from the relative comfort of my finely appointed, 18th century style sitting room, pulling all the relevant strings and pushing all the appropriate buttons.
(i.e. all your votes are belong to us)
