As PD pointed out below, the Harris County GOP is priding itself on taking away free flu shots. I got an email from the chair of the Harris County GOP, saying:
Seriously? Is the Harris County GOP really saying that denying flu shots to underpriveleged persons is a victory? I know the Republicans are all about cutting health benefits from working families, but actually bragging about it?
It's shameful to dole out a common vaccine to underprivileged segments of the population? Good grief. Yesterday Rick Perry told a crowd of 300 that we should promote strong moral values and save children from a "culture of godlessness". How is stopping people from delivering free help any sort of a strong moral value?

Belle,
You're wrong, God loves the poor, that's why he made so many of them.
Jesus said: "the poor be with ye always". (Matt. 26:11)
God's Own Party has interpreted that to mean: let them die, there'll be more along shortly.
Man folks in Harris County can be tin eared. why would a lame program no one knew about be more effectitive if we yell about it and look like cold hearted bums? Lets stop before we shoot our foot off? naw shoot first.
Anon,
You do regcognize sarcasm, right?
Isn't it obvious? God hates the poor; otherwise, they wouldn't be poor. Helping those whom God hates is the most immoral thing you can do. If one the other hand, you can get rid of them a little faster, well, that's got to be worth some points, right?
