The acting director of the White House Travel Office was attacked and robbed by three men. Greg Pitts was accompanying the president on the return from Asia. While Bush was at the Air Force base, the staff and pool reporters were kicking up their heels in Waikiki...well until the mugging.

Perhaps the Travel Office should know the seedy parts of town so as to not direct presidential staff into a bad part of town...I mean even my travel agent knows not to send me anywhere near potential violence. [source]
