Predictions - Part III
pdpredictions.jpg

It's Tuesday, bitches, which means one week until the electoral extravaganza. Here's your next to last chance to give us your predictions for the final tally in the Governor's race.

Again, for a little assistance, here are all the recent polls. The eventual winner will receive their choice of the books PD mentioned.

Your prediction closest to the election will be the one that we use when determining the winner. In other words, if you've already made a guess, you don't have to repeat yourself when we ask for more - we'll just rely on your old prediction. If you want to change your guess, though, feel free.

The dramatically increased early voter participation is from Kinky supporters. They aren't considered "likely voters" so they don't show up in the polls. Strayhorn will drop a last-minute desperation Rick's-a-homo bomb, hurting them both with the Christian right-wingers. Dems will begin to realize that Chris cannot win a state-wide race against an incumbent Republican. Those who still choose to participate will embrace everyone's fave, Uncle Kinky.

Nice fantasy world you live in. Kinky is making a movie, probably for HBO. I stick with my original predictions, whatever they were. Carole drops a last minute homo bomb...that must be some of Jeremy's garlic you're partaking of there.

The Other Guy at October 31, 2006 10:35 AM

If Kinky's planning on selling this documentary, you can be sure the bulk of the profits will go to charity.

I hope he sells it and makes a fortune!
(after he finishes his term as Governor!)

I stick with my prediction. Zogby, Rassmussen et al aren't counting Kinky's base, the "unlikely" voter.

Damn, mcblogger getting all precise with decimals and shit.

SuperWow! at October 31, 2006 3:24 PM

really? Werner above Kinky? The most I've read about the guy is "Libertarian James Werner is also a candidate."

RawHide at October 31, 2006 3:46 PM

It's somewhat speculative but what we're seeing is that a lot of R's are shifting to the L's.

Kinky's buttcrust at this point. The comment when coming out of the poll sealed the deal.

mcblogger at October 31, 2006 8:15 PM

mcblogger,
you have just lost ALL credibility.
not that you had much to begin with.

mcbloggersmokin at October 31, 2006 9:45 PM

39% - Perry
34% - Bell
18% - Strayhorn
6% - Kinky
3% - Werner

(I also predict the GOP holds the US Congress and Senate.)

After seeing a weeks worth of voter turnout numbers showing low turnout in the valley and driving from Del Rio to Laredo to Kingsville and seeing more Kinky Friedman signs than Chris Bell (although, in fairness, I didn't see many Chris Bell signs at all), I'm changing my prediction from last week:

Kinky 31
Perrry 30
Bell 21
Strayhorn17
Werner - the rest.
