I love that phrase. There's a new group in Texas that is working to create a portal for all of us that wish to send care packages to soldiers in Iraq. Texas is well represented in the military and the Texas Patriot Network gives you a one-stop place for you to go and show your support by making a donation or sending items for care packages.
Stop by and show them how a real American expresses patriotism. It's a helluva lot better than buying a yellow ribbon for your SUV at the local 7-11.
Better yet, set up a recurring reminder to yourself to donate to them. At the last DFT meeting they said that the troops are hardly getting any care packages now compared to the beginning of the war. As far as sacrifices go, this one's pretty easy.
I haven't gotten anything done today. I feel like a fog, but what can I say? I've just been letting everything wash over me lately, not that it matters. Shrug.
I haven't been up to much these days. Today was a loss. Nothing seems important. I've just been letting everything happen without me these days.

My life's been pretty dull recently. Shrug. My mind is like a void. I haven't gotten anything done lately. I can't be bothered with anything recently.
You can also submit the name of someone you know who is serving in the middle east so that they can receive a care package!
Thanks!
