I mean, that's the only logical explanation for publicly stating that Texas A&M is going to win the national championship in college football this year. Let's be serious - they're a subpar team and their record will reflect that. Coach Fran can neither recruit nor coach. Their starting running back is a big tub of goo. And they've lost to Texas six years in a row.
True, there is the fact that Perry is a former yellleader cheerleader at A&M ... and he's a politician trying to play to a home crowd ... but I'm still convinced that the hair spray has somehow saturated his skull and warped his already poisoned mind.

hey now, R-T is no longer our running back, he's not even a longhorn. Selvin Young is trimmed down, healthy, and faster than ever. Throw in Jamaal Charles and we got a couple backs that can run circles around A&M.
Random aside...Ramonce was arrested with a pound of pot at an A&M graduation party. Just saying, he wasn't the only doing drugs.
Also, Rick Perry was all gung-ho UT at our National Championship party. He couldn't stop doing the hook 'em sign. He may be paying lipservice to y'all, but he's all up on the winners.
