A Lesson In What To Whine About

Take, for example, Rep. Gene Seaman's recent complaining about Juan Garcia, his Democratic challenger. Seaman decided to bitch about Garcia's flight record in the Navy:

"He's not a fighter pilot," Seaman asserted. "He never flew jets, he flew P-3s. He is not a fighter pilot even though he takes his picture behind a jet."
P-3s, it turns out, indeed are not fighter jets, and Garcia's site does have shots of him in front of fighters. But who fucking cares? Whining that Garcia took pictures in front of the wrong plane? The Caller-Times must have a similar sentiment:
[cont'd from above] ... Garcia did not fly jets, his campaign staff agreed. But he did fly 30 armed missions in the Persian Gulf and served as a top aide to the deputy Commander in Chief of U.S. Naval Forces in Europe. He also served in Operation Allied Force in Kosovo and on the aircraft carrier USS Constellation in support of the enforcement of the no-fly zone in Iraq.
Ha! Nice job, Seaman - you allowed Garcia the opportunity to talk about his stellar record once again. Throw Garcia some change so he can continue kicking Seaman's ass in the money race.

Oh, and remember - Seaman is the same dude that imitated a boner on the House floor:

My life's been pretty dull recently. Shrug. My mind is like a void. I haven't gotten anything done lately. I can't be bothered with anything recently.

I haven't been up to much today. I've just been letting everything happen without me. Basically nothing seems worth bothering with. I've just been hanging out doing nothing. I just don't have anything to say right now. More or less nothing happening.

I've just been hanging out not getting anything done. What can I say? I've basically been doing nothing worth mentioning, but pfft. Not that it matters. Pretty much nothing exciting happening to speak of. I haven't been up to much these days.
