Carole Strayhorn, or Carole Cougar Mellencamp as some refer to her now, seems to be losing whatever umph she had earlier in the campaign cycle. Not only would a judge not take on her case (the judge said it's not under her jurisdiction) to put her nickname "Grandma" on the ballot, but the judge poked fun at Strayhorn, asking "what would prevent her from requesting that she be listed on the ballot as Suzanne "Best Judge in the Land" Covington" [KVUE].
Oh Carole, we're eager to see what you've got up your sleeve now.

My grandma was a very nice lady. Today, justice was served because Carole ain't my grandma. Up her sleeve? I don't want to know...probably something ugly. (don't visualize, it'll upset your stomach.)
Adios Grandma!
The Statesman is reporting that Carole Strayhorn has dropped her lawsuit regarding the use of the name "Grandma".
It's "Carole Strayhorn" in November.
dropping this suit is the first smart thing she's done.
sorry, make that the second smartest.
Just to be accurate - Mellencamp was forced by his label to accept the Cougar moniker.
When he could tell them to go to hell, he took his name back.
Don't insult the little bastard by appending his name to Carol Keeton McClellan Rylander Stayhorn Grandma LLC Inc. Co.
