Today, Tom DeLay leaves our lives as a Texan congressman. Instead of leaving in shackles headed for the big house, he's headed for surburbia outside of Washington, D.C. Even though the district is in an uproar of trying to replace him on the ballot (there is a court battle going on about the replacement), we're just glad to see him go.

Tom, don't let the door hit you in the ass on your way out. Just get out!

Tom DeLay responded to Texas, "Fuck all y'all." and with that his going away party came to a close. Every guest received a miniature bottle of scotch and $5,000 in cash to donate to his legal defense fund.
