I Now Close the Debate on Stem Cell Research
Researchers from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine have injected neurons near the spinal cords of rats that had been paralyzed by a virus, and found that the rats were able to “partially” move their legs.

I have nothing further. Except, wait..I do. See? This is science. Science is good. Smart people can discover and invent and revolutionize and find cures and all sorts of really amazing things. Instead of villifying them, we should hold them up as nerdy heroes and teach our children that being a scientist is like, totally, way cooler than being Paris Hilton.

They been conducting stem cell research since the 80's in the form of bone marrow transplants. In addition, this has already been done throughout the world with adult stem cells. So, not so breaking news...FYI
