Who knew it would be Senator Florence Shapiro playing the hardball in the Senate. I guess she has to, since obviously Dewhurst doesn't seem to have any these days. Meetings in the Capitol lasted right up until midnight last night and we heard there was still a chance of some negotiations on CSHB1, but apparently they broke off without an agreement.
We had heard earlier in the evening that Shapiro was going to cave. Now, all eyes are on the spitfire to see what her next move will be. Will the Special go down in flames? Will the court's deadline come and go? Will Florence wear that hideous white denim outfit again?

Is seersucker making a comeback, or has it always been so prevalent?
Whenever I think of seersucker, I picture an overweight, sweaty, Southern lawyer in the 1950s saying something like "I do declare ..."
HEY! I've got two seersucker suits! They are hands down the best summer suit, ever! Just look at Brooks Brothers. Geesh, you Texans. If it ain't Wranglers and Ropers you don't know what the hell to wear.
I have to admit, I love seersucker suits. I am so glad that they are making a come back.

OMG, I just fainted. Who buys clothes at Sears?! Here's a tip, never buy clothes in the same building you can get a riding lawn mower.
