When I think of Utah, the first thing that usually comes to mind is "legislative blogging." Naturally then, Utah's state Senate became the first legislative body to have its own blog.
The blog, which you can view here, was developed to allow Senators, staff, and constituents a chance to debate how to spend Utah's record $1 billion surplus. Ha - one billion. Ever heard of eight-point-two? Yeah. Look it up.
This got me thinking: why doesn't our wonderful Texas Lege start a blog? Who knows, we could be missing out on posts like these:
