Is it just me or is Bush really not making sense? Has he ever? I've spent the last couple minutes trying to wrap my head around this silly bit of a German interview with him. They asked what he thought about soccer and the World Cup, and . . . I just don't understand. Soccer didn't exist when Bush was a kid? Huh? Can he be any more obtuse?
update: In the same interview, he said that the best moment of his presidency was catching a big fish, and the worst was 9/11.
I'm 20 years younger than Bush, and I never saw soccer until I came to UT in 1983. I had heard about Pele and that the sport existed, but I had never seen a soccer ball or game.
US midfielder Clint Dempsey is from Nacogdoches. That is so cool.
When Bush says "it didn't exist", he doesn't mean it literally, only that he was unaware of it and embraced alternative sports. Same story as evolution.
Unglaublicher Trottel dork
Bluebonnet, I don't know what angles greater than 90 degrees have to do with anything, but let's leave math out of it!
oh, har har. =)
Oh, you understand. Yes you do.
Vielen dank, Sabestian.
What's the German for "incredible moron dork"?
