Howard Dean: Go Fug Yourself

Howard Dean was on (crazy as batshit) Pat Robertson's 700 Club and decided to claim that the Democrat's platform in 2004 was all about marriage between a man and a woman. Actually, the platform specifically outlined that the Democrats believed in inclusion and equal rights for gays and lesbians where marriage was concerned. After he got through pandering in a pathetic attempt to up-Christian the Christian Right, the gays pitched a hissy fit and clawed his eyes out.

What I would really like? If we could get some Democrats to quit being pussies and stand for something instead of falling for everything.

Urgh. Why was Dean on the 700 club? Pat Robertson is INSANE.

Amen (to the post).

"Stand For Something Instead Of Falling For Everything"

- either another great bumperstick or fortune cookie fortune (but beautiful nonetheless).

I agree with jimmycity. Nice.

I'm not sure what's funnier, Dean pandering to Christians or heathens hating Democrats for pandering to Christians. hehehe ^_^

Rev. Thomas S. Painter (R) at May 11, 2006 2:11 PM

Pat Robertson is not a Christian. He's a terrorist that hates America. Me, on the other hand, am next to Godliness.

PinkDome at May 11, 2006 2:28 PM

I think the Gates of Heaven will see Pinkdome long before Pat Robertson.

UT_guy at May 11, 2006 3:06 PM

I'm busy trying to figure out whether Rev. Painter's website is real or just a really, really good parody. If it's the former, then it amuses (and scares) me that he reads PinkDome. If it's the latter, then I'm highly impressed.

"What I would really like? If we could get some Democrats to quit being pussies and stand for something instead of falling for everything."

How about an independent that is not a pussy?

"Q: What is Kinky's position on gay marriage?
A: Kinky supports gay marriage and equal rights for homosexuals. He believes that the constitution protects everyone. As he says, "I believe love is bigger than government."

The thought of Wonk calling some one a sissy cracks me up. The one generalization I have come to accept about republicans is that the "I'm a better Christian and American / my bombs and belt buckle are bigger than yours", translates to " I wish I were tougher."

Get back to your desk, boy.

blue at May 11, 2006 9:11 PM

Really? Well the thought of you having a life is equally funny.

Go measure some drapes, sissy.

Wonk [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 12, 2006 11:03 AM

Awwww....cute! Wonk's got a little boy-crush on somebody! Look how Wonk teases Blue, hoping we won't notice that he's smitten!

Watcha gonna do next, Wonkie, give him a wedgie?

Wank at May 12, 2006 11:31 AM

Painter's site is most certainly parody. The overactive design, the ridiculous position statements, the over-the-top hate-filled rhetoric--there are people who actually beleive this shit, but they aren't tech-savvy enough to work an ATM, much less design a web-page.

Locutor at May 12, 2006 11:34 AM

Maybe I'm just naive, and I'm certainly a moron, but the Rev's site looks like the real deal to me. And all I can say to it is:

Your Hate Makes Me Hard

jimmycity at May 12, 2006 6:51 PM

"Howard Dean doesn't care about gay people."
