What Are You Thinking?

There are always a handful of really dumb resolutions. Already there's been one filed to honor Eddie V's (it seems someone is gunning for some free food). But far and away, the worst one I've seen is this...

HR 27 by Goolsby, honoring Karl Rove.

Will one of you Democrats please at least raise a hub-ub about this when they try and rush it through for a vote? Otherwise, you're putting your name down as voting to honor the shadiest of all shady characters, a guy who has actively been trying to pick you all off for years now.

Let us know if any of you see any other dumb resolutions floating around out there, we'll post 'em.

F'n resolutions are such a waste of time.

I hate them.

Wonk [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 17, 2006 4:50 PM

I agree, Wonk. The Lege would save a lot of time and money by just requiring that each lawmaker keep a roll of gold stars in his desk drawer. Seriously.

Harriet Miller is a great candidate running against Goolsby. If you can, go to her website and give her a hand.

Guess you didn't see the long-ass one honoring Nadine Craddick's parents on their wedding anniversary.

Vince Leibowitz at April 17, 2006 9:34 PM

Now we know that Nadine's parents were married. What about Tom's...
