South Park and the First Amendment

southparkmuslim2.jpg
Sadly, last night's episode of South Park was perhaps the most insightful and well thought out discussion on the First Amendment, the recent cartoon controversy and terrorism. How the hell did that happen? You can view most of the salient parts of the show here, courtesy of The Malcontent.

If you cannot watch the video, let me relate the best bit of irony to you. While the networks censored out any picture or cartoon or Mohammed, the episode ends with Jesus Christ crapping on George Bush and the American Flag. Look Ma, no bombs exploded either!

Your absolutely right. Yeah that episode was one of the best they've done in a while. Trey and Matt hit the nail right on the head.

That last part had me rolling....and look Christians and Americans are blowing each other up. Just shows you how fucking ingorant and violent some of those people are.

Too bad Comedy Central didn't have the balls to show the image of Mohammed.

Both parts were very funny. If you search "Cartoon Wars" on the website www.youtube.com, you might find the shows as well...

ROCK! I still think the tower to heaven/Toby Keith episode was funnier but this was very good!

That one was a good one too. The globald warming episode was better though. In my opinion.

I am so glad you covered this. I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time.
