The man, not the picture, that thing is gold.

Frank Madla is calling it quits early. As of May 31, you won't have him to kick around anymore. Well, you probably will, but he'll be a lobbyist then and it's not that much fun to kick a lobbyist, they don't fight back.

So chalk one more name up to the growing trend of retiring scumbags. Adios Madla, don't forget to clean up your office for Uresti.

As an aside, I was perusing Madla's C&E reports. On 3/6 Ross Perot gave him $2000. I didn't really even realize Ross Perot was still around.

OH NO. Special Election!!!!

Hah, yeah, maybe they'll need it if there are like 3 more special sessions this summer.

Oh no Kathy Walt already covered her bases on that, remember, this is a Dem seat. Just like Moreno's seat, they "don't expect anymore special sessions," meaning the seat will be open until November while Dems have 1 less vote over the summer.

RawHide at April 17, 2006 9:46 PM

Honestly. Did the D's have that vote to begin with? I see it as the other way around. The R's have lost here.
