Random Question

Ok, so before the special, Rep. Jim Jackson sent an email to all House employees with his opinion of what to do with the surplus. I was wondering why he was getting out in front like that. Then on Monday, he join Coleman, Burnham, Laney and Dutton in voting against HB 1 (Record 17). His reason for voting against it was "It was not worthy of my support". What kind of cocky answer is that?

This is purely rabble rousing, but why is this dude trying to get so much attention all of a sudden? What's he angling for? I've been vaguely aware of who he is, and all of a sudden he's jumping up and down trying to get people to notice him. Can someone explain to me what he's gunning for?

If you check his bio - it looks like he's never had a job in his entire life.
