Early votes show Terry Keel losing by 3 points, Welch whooping Castano (I hope he doesn't cry), Fleece is whooping Zimmerman, and Leininger whore Campbell is losing to Parent PACer Drew Darby by 20 percentage points.
On the Dem side Radnofsky is stomping Kelly, Akrum is stomping Foreman, Maria Alvarado pulls ahead by 15 percentage points, and Valinda Bolton (yay!) is winning 65-35.
Remember these are early vote numbers, tune in later for more results.
To check for yourself, the Dem results are here and the R results are here.
*UPDATE*
Early numbers are in for HD 146, Al Edwards won the early vote by 56 votes. Greg's nails are probably in the process of being bitten right off.
Richard Raymond is beating Mercurio Martinez 58-42
*UPDATE* 9pm
GET OUT! Borris Miles ticks up to a 31 vote lead over Al Edwards.
Jason Earle is getting beat down by Valinda Bolton. Did her brother Michael campaign for her? (I know, LAME)
And, duh Barbara Radnofsky is breezing through the runoff.
Holcomb continues to lead over Terry "Mullet" Keel.
9:10 pm
According to our sources, the second half of the precincts that haven't reported yet are going to be strong for Borris Miles.
Let's hear it for Parent PAC! Picking up a huge lead right now over Leininger backed incumbent Scott Campbell with challenger Drew Darby. In HD-72, Parent PACer Susan King is squeaking over Kevin Christian. In HD-54, Parent PACer Jimmy Don Aycock has a 54-46 lead. Parent PACer Anne Lakusta has a 52-48 lead over Tan Parker in HD-63.
Carolyn Boyle/Parent PAC is the new power player this election cycle. Such a stark contrast from Tom Delay/Bill Hammond/TRMPac/TAB/TLR 4 years ago.
10:00 pm
November matchup in HD-47 will be Valinda Bolton vs. Bill Welch. Start emailing us your dirt on Welch, I feel another douche ad hominem attack blitz coming on. Submit the word you want to pop up next to his name whenever someone googles him, and we'll try and get it going again.
Congrats go out to Bar, Ankrum, Raymond, and Valinda. I guess Alvarado too, we'll see what her name can do against Dewhurst in November.
Still waiting for those last three nails in Edwards' coffin precincts to come in in the HD 146 race.
10:23
Looks like Lakusta lost (alliteration) to Tan Parker by 48 votes, could be a loss for Parent PAC.
Seriosly though, Darby, King, Aycock - 3 names indebted to the Parent PAC, in addition to their wins from March. Throw in the scares Berman, Brown, Phillips, and others received, along with most Dems, and you've got more than 76 votes right there for education. Add to the fact that Craddick was sitting on a couple million dollars that he didn't use to help incumbents, and you've got a pissed off group of legislators listening to their constituents. Right about now, Craddick should be shaking in his boots.

It is official, 43 of 43 precincts reporting, Borris Miles 53.54% to Al Edwards 46.46%. So long, farewell, auf wiedersehn, goodbye.
Welcome Borris, to that crazy world of Austin politics. Edwards can now devote his free time to scouring the local high schools for inappropriate cheerleader behavior.
The only thing going into my system at the moment is caffeine. I happen to have taken my work home with me tonight, trying to play catchup. I'll go find a bottle of liquor soon to see if I can salvage any drunk posting tonight.
You better, asshole...you started this tonight!
PD, I don't know what you see in that bubbly anyway. Too much sugar, meaning hangover trouble. Try vodka w/ a splash of cran, or Jack and Diet Coke. Sugar-free caffeine high! Looking forward to an Edwards defeat and a big hug on the 20th.
We need to get in contact with Carolyn Boyle, she is the shit this year. Someone add her name to the invite list for the PD/ITPT party, I wanna buy her a drink.

Veuve is not sugary shit! No hangover, deeeee-licoous.
big d's numbers are perhaps from the Harris County Clerk?http://www.election.co.harris.tx.us/Dem/dem_results_for_20060411.htm
And OK, OK, PD -- I'll buy a bottle at the party.

Kimberly rules. Hopes she comes. I'll buy her whatever she wants. The 20th, and all through the session. Heard it here first.

So long, Al! Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord spit ya!
Oh the 20th can't get here fast enough!! We've got some celebretatin' to do.
I hope you retire that scary sh*t. Just sayin'.
HAHA! Come on DMWP, you know you were so loving that mad photoshop skill!
Yeah, it was good. Too good.
Craddick would be shaking in his boots if he ever owned a pair. Except for those go-go boots ala Nancy Sinatra. (Can you photoshop THAT?)
Just checked.

Whoda' thought? Darby KICK ASS. Keel lost, Edwards lost, Schofield (Perry's hand pick) lost ... pinch me.
Edwards is out, Borris is in, 3 more Republican Parent PACers are in. I am now off to scrounge up some booze, sleep tight everyone.
p.s. - everyone start thinking up names to call Bill Welch, let's douche-ify him.
Ok, so from the primaries and the runoffs...how many incumbents out? How many Leininger whores in? What's the net-net?
Who knew the election cycle would be so interesting?
So much for writing off the education community as people that don't pay attention or vote, huh?
And ... Lakusta lost by only 48 votes out of 6,356 cast. ParentPAC rocks.
Valinda Bolton = landslide defeat in November
Alvarado = the same
Am I the only one disappointed with most of the run-offs, aside from Al Edwards getting booted?

HAHA! I don't have any champagne in the house for drunk results postings. The runoffs are SO boring, maybe I can dig up a valium and post. :)
