The Walk of Shame

South Carolina's Lt. Gov. is walking to work these days. It is 'symbolic' of his apology for being caught speeding twice and not getting tickets. Clocked at 101 mph once, it looks like he's probably doing about 1 mph now. We had to share this because of the sad puppy look on his face in this photo.

When the priest sex-scandal hit my church, I told every priest I knew that if the bishops who allowed it to happen would sit on the steps of their cathedrals every Sunday during lent in sackcloth, and covered with ashes, they may have a chance to redeem themselves. Obviously, nobody in the RC church listened to me - I guess they didn't have the balls for real repentence. But this guy is on the right track. Let's see if he wimps out - let's see how bad he wants redemption.

Nice catch.
