Seriously?

What the fuck is up with this? Texas arresting people for being drunk in bars. What's next? Coming into our homes to see if we're praying and making sure there's not more than three dildoes (didi? dildos? What is the plural?) As a friend said to me, "If I want to get stinking drunk in a bar and fall on my face and then call a cab to go home that is my goddamn right as an American!"

I'm pretty sure that's not the correct form of the plural for "dildo."

Rick Perry at March 23, 2006 11:18 AM

Plural of "dildo"?

"Republicans"

“People walk out into traffic and get run over, people jump off of balconies trying to reach a swimming pool and miss.”

I am SO lobbying for my local pub to get a balcony and swimming pool.

I am glad to see the Pink Socialists standing up for individual rights for once. Good post!

Mike N. at March 23, 2006 2:35 PM

Motorcycle cops, tow-truck drivers, and TABC agents are the three lowest forms of life . . .

JUICE at March 23, 2006 4:27 PM

JUICE - I don't know if I would be so mean to motorcycle cops and TABC agents.

Pink Socialist? Is that a cocktail? Obviously you don't know much about PD, I have 'individual rights' tattoed on my ass.

Pinkdome at March 23, 2006 4:34 PM

Oh I see, it is only those individual rights that you agree with...screw the other ones.

Mike N. at March 23, 2006 4:42 PM

The public education rant is a prime example.

Mike N. at March 23, 2006 4:43 PM

Mike N. -- an in Mike No Need to Know what the hell i'm talking about.

Individual rights and public ed? Good try.

Blue at March 23, 2006 4:50 PM

Mike - if you want to educate your kids at home, GREAT! TEACH AWAY! Just quit whining, especially about the taxes that are the price you pay for living in the first world. If you want to pay little or no taxes, MOVE TO NICARAGUA.

original TREY at March 23, 2006 10:55 PM

Does anybody remember APD trying this tactic a few years back?

Ray at March 24, 2006 8:51 AM

Blue,

You don't understand property rights then. My money is my property. If you still my money (property) to give to someone else, then you are violating my property rights.

Mike N. at March 24, 2006 12:33 PM

Absolutely.

I'll type it slowly so the ignorant socialist can follow along:

Libertarians

are

NOT

right-wingers.

They don't fit on your "you vs me" childish mentality. Sorry to burst your bubble.

If YOU want communism so badly, then YOU move to China.

Mike N. at March 26, 2006 3:35 PM

Ahhh, I see: Mike N. has nothing.

No argument, no ability to address someone else's argument.

Libertarian, Schmibertarian.

You talk like a right-winger, you want to enact right wing policies like abolishing public education, well then sorry, you're a right winger. Just one claiming to be something else.

Once again, I'll make my point: businessmen all over this state want effective public education to train their workforce.

What is YOUR solution to the need for public education? Got anything constructive?

Locutor at March 27, 2006 11:25 AM

Locutor,

Okay, so you are against businessmen because they are successful and have money (what you call right-wingers), but you are for their interest in public education... hmm.

Name one republic that is against public education and you might have a point that it is a right-wing policy. Good luck.

You need to educate yourself on political ideologies.
