Blessed are the peacemakers.

That was part of Helen Thomas' thank you to a Utah woman that organized an effort sending her thousands of flowers after she finally got to ask George Bush a question and grilled him about Iraq.

We think that is so sweet. We have admired her for so long, but if we are being completely honest...we don't know why. We can't remember reading a single byline by her. But since everybody says she's incredible, we believe it. Besides, it's just so cool that she's supposed to get the first question every time (right? I thought I heard that somewhere).

(Yes, I'm a total loser. I was so hungover all day that I'm not out tonight and I'm posting blog entries at midnight. Son of a bitch that sucks!)

She may be a good person, but as a journalist she is not "incredible," just aggressive. Her questions are not especially insightful and they often careen off into lecturing. She is admired for being well known, not much more.

Man, PD, you wear your drinking like a badge of honor, and I just don't get it. You're smarter and funnier than that.

You stayed home on a Friday night and DIDN'T get ripped and that makes you a loser? I know you don't really believe that.

Enough of the hangover and alcohol consumption stories. Drink 'til you've pickled your liver, if you want, but I want to hear about politics here.

^ Whatever. Who died and made you Joel Osteen?

Marie at April 1, 2006 7:42 PM

^^If you do not know by now that PD is written as a 'character' that runs basically as a theme on this blog, then you are completely missing the point here.
